What do you seek to aspire to do in your life? According to God’s Word, as we follow and obey his Son Jesus Christ, he gives us the ability and power to use the knowledge to create and develop our greatest potential. May we rise up with praise and purpose on our lips. Giving him honor and glory for the things he has allowed us to do. May we have a determination to explore the possibilities of the talents and abilities that God has given us.
Why? First and foremost, because we have breath in our lungs, strength in our body and a mind that can lead us to accomplish success. May we strive to keep reaching our full capability! Myles Munroe, a famous Evangelist from the Bahamas shared a story of the disciples arguing about which of them would be the greatest amongst the disciples. Jesus taught that the greatest would be as one that served others. What an amazing lesson he taught on humility as an act of love when he washed the disciple’s feet? Jesus did not come to be served but to serve others and has taught us to follow by example.
Myles Munroe reminded us of a deeper lesson towards greatness suggesting that if one wants to be great, he or she must serve their gift to the world. The problem that many of us face is that we have plans and desires but never seek to accomplish them. In a sermon, Dr. Myles Munroe stated “the wealthiest place on the planet is just down the road. It is the cemetery. There lie buried companies that were never started, inventions that were never made, bestselling books that were never written, and masterpieces that were never painted. In the cemetery is buried the greatest treasure of untapped potential.” -Myles Munroe-
There is greatness in each one of us. May we not procrastinate, but choose to do something towards our dreams each and every day to make the talents inside of us a reality, that the grave not become its resting place. So again, what do you aspire to do?
