On Thursday morning, I was in prayer between 3:00 and 4:00 am doing scripted intercessions of Spiritual Warfare. I have recited these prayers for many years; however, it was as if the words “artificial intelligence” were foreign to me because I’ve always said “Ai” instead. Those two words got my attention and immediately that morning, I began a study in the Bible about “fallen angels.”
This prayer prompt provided information that artificial intelligence consists of strange and ungodly creatures that are forbidden to be activated by whatever source they come from. Lucifer, one of the high ranking, angelic hosts in heaven who was perfect in all his ways, full of wisdom and beauty, his covering was that of every precious stone. He surrounded the throne with worship and became boastful, not satisfied in worshipping God but wanted to be equal with and worshipped, as God. His name was changed to Satan the Devil (Revelation 12: 7-9) when he became corrupted with pride and one third of the angels that fell with him were cast out of heaven by Michael (Jude 1:9) the archangel. In Luke 10:18, Jesus spoke, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven” symbolizing the swift way he was defeated. This supports the authority Jesus has over Satan and his demons. Thus, fallen angels, are those that rebelled against God, led by Lucifer (Satan) and cast out of heaven, becoming demons or evil spirits.
In (2 Corinthians 11:14) this scripture denotes that Satan transforms as an angel of light and chooses to appear helpful as he was in heaven. He uses cunning practices to draw humans to his plans because he wants to rule over them since he has limited time to destroy mankind. Satan wants to take as many people as possible with him to hell and continues to want to be equal with God. Thinking about the tools such as Artificial Intelligence (Ai), Microsoft Copilot, and ChatGPT, they only help us to improve our language conversations, right? How harmful can that be?
Well, I was using these tools to provide feedback and titles for my Blog until I felt guilty because it wasn’t my ideas, they were someone else’s. I then reminded myself that as a Christian and Child of God, the Holy Spirit lives inside of me (1Corinthian 14:26) and will provide what I need if I would only seek Him. When we are weak then God strengthens us through the Holy Spirit. Today, many have chosen to place their confidence in these tools that aren’t even real, artificial, but God provides us with the truth, the real deal!
People use Ai to write books, decorate their rooms and other projects, resumes, complete their sermons for ministry, curriculum vitaes, write out lesson plans, art activities and prepare meals. I am just amazed at the online documents that individuals have legally placed in the authority of Ai website software. It is so inviting though! You really can’t help it because when you click on dictionary or look up something, Ai is the main source in nearly everything!
The unsettledness’ I felt reignited when I was told by Microsoft that they would automatically be using all my data, written documents, stories, etc. towards Ai training unless I changed my settings to reflect that it was an infringement of my rights. I am still not sure that I completed the information correctly.
Should I just get with the program because Artificial Intelligence is here to stay and is in everything we do, therefore I must realize that there is limited means of avoidance on my end.
