Neuse River Writers is on the MOVE! This is a gathering that allows individuals to showcase their talents. We met for Open Mic on Friday Night at Alta’s Coffee and Deli on Waddell St in Selma. Since we hadn’t met together in a while, it seemed like a “Talent Family Reunion, of lots of old faces and many new- comers. We had a great time!
Thankful to all that came out to share their gifts and talents. Their were poets, authors, musicians, singers, orators and much more. We also would like to thank the owners of Alta’s Coffee and Deli on W. Waddell St. in Selma for opening their doors for us to meet making this even a possibility.

Ms. Cindy Brookshire meets with Writers on Thursdays from 1:00-3:00 pm in Telling our Stories where individuals share in writing activities to improve their skills firsthand in impromptu writing activities.
